Based in New York, YC Media is a food-and-beverage-focused communications agency. Our basic brief was to build a new Website to replace the firm’s outdated Flash-based site, properly fitted with a modern CMS so that the client could update content easily. As the project progressed, we worked closely with the client’s graphic designer to propose interface enhancements to the look-and-feel to improve the user interface. We also guided design and content so that the site would display well across multiple devices and platforms, from small- to large-format screens.
We used a modular approach for the layout to help control the wide variety of content the client desired: slideshows, social media feeds, and client presentations that included screen captures, video, and images mixed with copy
